Changes :)

It's been a while since my last post and alot of changes have taken place. I AM GOING TO BE A MOMMY!!! The baby is due January 31, 2011. Kenny and I are extremely excited. The thought and reality of the fact that God has blessed me/us with this wonderful little miracle inside of my belly is such a great feeling. His work is never done. His work never ceases to amaze me. For so long I often wondered when/if I would ever get to experience being a mom. I wondered if that was one of the plans that God had in store for me. After watching my best friend go through pregnancy, childbirth and finally getting to hold her precious Gift from God...It made me really think about alot of things in my life. The fact that I am getting older and my biological clock is ticking (according to everyone around me) was really bothering me. I can remember watching Angella breastfeed in the hospital and I became overwhelmed with emotion. My first ultrasound was June 23rd. Hearing my babies heartbeat was such an amazing feeling. When Kenny and I heard it for the first time it was such a comforting feeling. Everytime I look at my belly I just smile. I find myself talking to my belly all of the time. My next appt is August 18th. Maybe in my next post after that appt, I will be able to reveal the sex of the baby....Maybe! Either way, prayers please for a healthy pregnancy and baby. God is Good. His love never ceases.
