The New New
These past few months have been a whirl wind for me. I was thinking yesterday about how fast this year has went by. I cannot believe that it is already November. However, I am extremely excited that is so close to the holidays. There is nothing I enjoy more than the holidays with the people I love the most. I have learned so many new things in these past few months. The biggest thing I have learned is that I am TRULY not in control of my life~ God Is. I have learned that even though times get tough, people treat you wrong or your day just is not that great.....GOD IS ALWAYS with me. It seems like HE consumes my every day thought process. When people say things that are not pleasing around me...I immediately think about how their words make Him feel. I love my Savior!! Though the past month has been a whirl wind of emotion and stress for me....and when I have felt like there is no one to talk to that will give me the honest answers I am looking so desperately for....I know I can turn to Him and He will guide my ways. It is amazing how true the saying "let go and let God" is. He makes me smile, He makes me want to do more for Him, He makes me want to do things for others in ways that I was not open to before. If anything has come out of this year at all.....I am so thankful for the even closer relationship that I have developed
with Christ. I will continue to serve you Lord....all the days of my life. Any opportunity that I see to lead the lost to you...I will act on it.

RANDOM
It has been a while since my last update and alot is going on. I FINALLY got a job offer and today was actually my first day on the job:) SUPER FANTASTIC is all I have to say. The people are friendly and always seem to be in great spirits, the company is such a great place to work and to make things a little better...I get to work with a really good friend of mine, JADE. God is so amazing. I will admit that life got a little dimmer. Days were a bit gloomy.....However, through the stress, worry and general concern I dealt with, I never ever forgot that My savior was going to see me through. AND THAT HE DID! God always provides a way. ALWAYS! Thank you Lord for all of your blessings and a special thanks to everyone who lifted me up in prayer daily.
Next week, Kenny and I will be taking Laine to CHI-TOWN for the first time. She is so excited about going to "JACAGO." She asked us if we would take her to the tallest building in the city...so SEARS TOWER HERE WE COME. Please pray for us as we make this drive there and back.
My Railey Bug is getting SOOOOO big. She is asking questions, saying sentences....calling names, asking how old some one is, asking where someone lives.....IT is amazing how smart she is for the age of 2. I am so so proud of my sister for guiding her in the right, positive direction.
Well, that is it for now. I will update later on. To everyone who reads this, God is never ever going to let you down. During the times when you may feel down and out, stressed, concerned...lean on HIS word and He will never steer you wrong. I love my GOD!!!!

June, June, June.....
Where do I begin? June has been a month of chaos for me. It has been a month of surprises, good and bad, busy schedules and hot summer days for sure. Lets see....at the beginning of June I got the pleasure of going to Bama Jam 2009 in Enterprise, AL and had the opportunity to see many great artists as well as hang out with many, many great friends. Then came Bonaroo for Kenny....He was gone from Wednesday to Monday to see even more GREAT artists up in Manchester, TN. Needless to say...June started out to be a very eventful, fun month for the both of us. Keagan Elyse Cornwall was born to my wonderful friend Amanda and her hubby Edward. She is beautiful, as I have already expressed. I enjoyed a MUCH NEEDED trip to Panama City Beach with some old friends of mine. We had the best time just catching up with one another. However, IT WAS HOTT!!!! My beautiful niece RAILEY BROOKE turned "2" on June 21st. She is such a blessing. She was literally unwrapping presents and passing them out to the other children. She is a give, most definitely. Then, Fathers Day. My Dad is the most amazing man I have ever had in my life. He is so supportive and loving and understanding. I am so very lucky to have him in my life. Kenny and I took Laine to Water World. Man was that an eye opener as to how grown Laine is getting. She convinced me to try the Great White at Water World. I have never really been too excited about rides or slides with about a 50 foot drop, much less ones where all you have to hold on to is a flimsy little plastic blow up float. Needless to say, this little 7 year old is fearless. She totally made fun of me for screaming....even mentioned that "maybe we should just go and do the mats because that would get the SCARED out of me." Who in the heck does she think she is talking to? JK! I love her so much. Then we come to the week of horrible news all the way around....Tuesday June 23rd I was laid off from a job that I loved after almost 4 years of diligent, loyal service. Totally mind blown for sure. Its amazing how fast, fear, worry, concern, and so many other emotions can set in. I was so devoted to this place. Its amazing how you dont realize the important things in your life until they are removed or taken away. CRAZY! Wednesday morning I wake up to a text stating that a friend has died in a house fire. 27 years old. I know God has a plan for him though. RIP Mark Meredith!! Thursday, as I was searching for a job, I encountered the rudest of rude ladies I have ever met. VERY DISCOURAGING!!!! Then today, June 26th.....two years ago today, I lost one of my best friends in this world- Perry Griffin. He was like a mentor. He was always smiling, lending an ear....or just making fun of me. I will always miss him and his spirit most of all....In closing, please pray for me and those whom I love. Pray for those around you that are lost, that know no way to go. Pray for those who are bitter or angry. Pray for everyone people. WE all need a little PRAYER. God Bless!

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.-Ephesians 4:2
This scripture means alot to me. Some people do not have the patience to tolerate others. Some people are so self concerned that they fail to realize how others around them are feeling. It is my goal to speak or at least smile at anyone who passes my way. You never know what kind of battle someone is facing. You never know how someone is feeling unless you ask. I challenge everyone to "Be Kind." If you see someone, who looks down or depressed...offer a kind word. A simple...."have a blessed day" can lift anyones spirit. Do not let others steal your joy. "Love comes from God."-1 John 4:7....and if HE can share His love with us...then who are we not to share it with others. SO..GET UP, GET OUT and DO SOMETHING!!!!

Keagan Elyse Cornwall

I decided that pink would be the most appropriate color to use while writing about the newest addition into my life. Her name is Keagan Elyse Cornwall. She belongs to my bestest good friend Amanda and her hubby Edward. Keagan was born on Thursday, June 11 @ 1:38pm. She weighed 8lbs 6oz and her daddy determined that she was 22 inches long (not 21 3/4 like the nurse said). She is absolutely beautiful. It is amazing to watch her. Too see her little funny facial expressions, to hear her coos, and her little pitiful cry when she is hungry. Amanda and Edward are so great with her already. They are naturals. She is a true blessing and I cant wait to have one of my own.
So, on another note...I made the door hanger for the hospital door. All of the nurses thought that it was just so cute. I really didn't think that much of it when I made it. I just wanted to please my best friend. Fortunately, other people did think alot about the hanger. I even booked a job making one for a nurse and was advised to hang one in the gift shop at the hospitals. Interesting. We will see where this will go.....
New to the game.
This is my first blog. Interesting. I never thought that I would be one to "blog." Thank you Kelli. Please be patient with me as I try and figure out exactly what all the excitement is about blogging. God Bless!
